Job summary

Spectra Tech in Richland, WA is seeking a Mechanical Planner to prepare work packages for construction and maintenance on nuclear plant projects. You will coordinate with Work Management, Supply, Operations, and Engineering to ensure safety, reliability, and code compliance.

Responsibilities include field walkdowns, procurement recommendations, and developing procedures and permits. Level I–III valve experience and Primavera knowledge are desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business and nuclear plant experience required (4+ years) or more.
• Passport and Primavera experience desired.
• PMP certification desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare mechanical work packages and instructions for contractors.
• Conduct field walkdowns to identify maintenance and modification needs.
• Coordinate with Work Management, Supply, Operations, and Engineering to resolve package issues.
• Prepare procurement recommendations for materials; ensure compliance with codes.
• Review and approve work packages to ensure safety and quality.
