Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in manufacturing, mechanical technology, industrial engineering, or related field.
• Five or more years of experience assembling valves and gauges or working in a related mechanical shop.
• Experience mentoring, training, or leading team members on a production floor.
• Advanced technical certification in hydraulics, pneumatics, or precision calibration.

Responsibilities

• Assemble complex valves to customer specifications using blueprints, schematics, diagrams and other technical documents. Coordinate with sales to clarify order requirements.
• Calibrate precision instruments, including meters, gauges, and regulators.
• Inspect and test completed products for proper operation and conformance to quality standards; diagnose defects and perform repairs.
• Serve as a technical resource for coworkers by demonstrating assembly techniques and assisting with troubleshooting.
• Help maintain accurate inventories of tools, shop supplies, and raw materials; document material usage, repairs, and test results.
• Inspect shop equipment and machinery for safe operation and report maintenance needs to the Shop Foreman.
• Communicate with the Shop Foreman, management, and other departments to support daily production schedules and deadlines.
• Perform other duties as assigned
