Job summary

Bray in Houston seeks a Simulation Engineer to perform advanced structural and thermal simulations for industrial valve products. You will develop analysis methods, interpret results, and translate findings into actionable design recommendations while collaborating with design, manufacturing, and quality teams.

The role requires 3+ years of FEA/CFD experience, strong ANSYS Mechanical proficiency, and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or better in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Three or more years of professional FEA experience with mechanical components or assemblies.
• Experience with or preference for ANSYS Mechanical.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and document structural and thermal FEA/CFD for valve components and assemblies.
• Evaluate stress, deformation, buckling, fatigue, and design margins.
• Verify models against hand calculations or test data; refine as needed.
• Produce review-ready reports documenting methods, assumptions, convergence and conclusions.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, testing, and quality teams to reduce risk and accelerate development.
