Ladish Valves is seeking an Engineering Director to provide strategic and hands-on leadership across all engineering functions. You will own the full lifecycle of valve design from customer spec to production release, ensuring performance and compliance with industry standards.

You will lead a team of engineers and drafters, drive DFMEAs, and partner with Sales, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and executives to deliver engineered-to-order solutions for demanding industries.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Engineering (M.S. preferred).
• 12+ years progressive engineering experience in valve/rotating equipment.
• 5+ years in engineering leadership/management.
• Hands-on design with multiple valve types (gate, globe, ball, etc.).
• Experience with valve testing protocols (API 598, ISO 5208, API 6D, etc.).
• Proven track record delivering engineered valve solutions for process industries.
• Knowledge of alloy systems including carbon, stainless, duplex, and nickel-based alloys.
• Background in precision lapping, seating finishing, or related machining processes.

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end valve design across multiple families and classes.
• Interface with customers to translate requirements into engineered valve designs.
• Manage testing, qualification, and performance validation in lab and field.
• Oversee materials selection and metallurgy for pressure-containing components.
• Ensure compliance with ASME, API, and other codes; support certifications.
• Mentor and develop a multi-discipline engineering team; drive best practices.
