Job summary

FloWorks USA LP in Garland, TX is seeking an Automation Technician to build, test, and troubleshoot automated valve and actuator assemblies using electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical components. The role involves reading schematics, CAD drawings, and technical manuals, with involvement in QC/QA, shipping, and warehouse operations.

Candidate should have experience with Fluke meters, 4-20 mA devices, and pneumatic tools, plus the ability to use SharePoint, Outlook, and Excel for daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in home appliance repair preferred.
• Prior experience in automotive repair preferred.
• High school diploma or GED (technical or vocational training preferred).
• Fluke Meters, 4-20 mA Generators, Electrical Wiring, Tube Bending. Experience with Pneumatic tools and compressed air.
• Ability to read schematics/technical manuals and CAD Drawings.
• Operating basic hand tools, Forklift, Jib Cranes
• Work with Computers specifically Microsoft SharePoint, Outlook and Excel

Responsibilities

• Build, automate, and function test valve and actuator assemblies per drawings and schematics.
• Assist with automation final QC/QA and Photo documentation
• Troubleshoot automation/valve issues in the shop
• Provide backup support for Shipping Manager (packaging, dock coverage)
• Provide offsite support if needed
• Help with printing/editing ADS
• Maintain warehouse/shop safety and cleanliness
• Attend monthly safety meetings and trainings
