Job summary

Georg Fischer in Irwindale, CA is seeking a hands-on assembler for valve packages. Shift 6am-2:30pm, days, with overtime as needed. Monday–Friday, occasional Saturdays.

Responsibilities include assembling valve packages, inspecting assemblies, testing, and maintaining production records. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of mechanical assembly or related production experience preferred.
• Experience following documented work instructions and quality records is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble manual and automated valve packages per BOMs, drawings, work instructions, and customer configuration.
• Perform functional and visual inspections during build including labeling and workmanship checks.
• Conduct testing using approved equipment such as pneumatic/electrical actuation and leak/pressure tests.
• Maintain production records and traceability (serial numbers, test results, nonconformances).
• Keep workstation clean and safe following 5S and safety practices, support inventory accuracy.
• Complete Role Standard Work and perform other duties as assigned.
