Job summary

Reliable Sprinkler Co. seeks a Valve Assembler to build and test fire protection valves in a climate-controlled production setting. You will use blueprints and data to determine materials, assemble components, and verify quality while maintaining a safe, organized workspace.

Responsibilities include analyzing orders, matching parts and serials, and assisting with testing and repairs as needed. This role offers full-time shifts with shift differentials for evenings and nights.

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints, work orders, or descriptions.
• Knowledge of gauges and valves used to assemble and identify improvements.
• Familiarity with hand tools and large-scale machines.
• Solid math skills, including basic algebra and geometry.
• Ability to operate machines and use computer-based systems.
• Knowledge of standard safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test valves per blueprints and orders.
• Collect and match parts, files, and serial numbers.
• Assemble components within a valve and operate related machinery.
• Conduct testing on new product parts for Engineering.
• Perform visual inspections and maintain 5S workplace.
• Identify and report hazards; assist with minor repairs as needed.
• Support product development with testing and issue isolation.
• Complete tasks accurately and on time.
