Job summary

McKenzie Valve & Machining, a Marmon Holdings company, seeks a valve assembler to maintain, repair, and test a variety of industrial valves on the second shift.

You will disassemble, inspect, calibrate, and reassemble valves, follow schematics and ASME/NB standards, document results, and coordinate with teammates and safety staff to ensure timely, compliant work.

Qualifications

• Follow schematics and documented procedures per Quality Control standards.
• Repair and test valves including ball, gate, butterfly types.
• Clean, inspect, measure, reassemble, and verify testing.

Responsibilities

• Repair and testing of various valves and related components.
• Disassembly, cleaning, inspection, measuring, reassembly and testing.
• Adhere to schematics and ASME/National Board standards.
• Complete calibration and documentation for testing and repairs.
• Provide timely updates to management and coworkers.
• Work with safety personnel to ensure OSHA compliance.

The Valve assembler position performs maintenance, assessment, repair, and testing on various types of industrial valves.

Job Requirements

• Responsible for repair and testing of various valves, including but not limited to ball valves, gate valves, butterfly valves, safety relief valves, etc.
• Perform disassembly, cleaning, inspection, measuring, reassembly, and testing of valves.
• Follow all schematics and documented procedures in accordance with all Quality Control and ASME National Board standards that apply to the job.
• Thoroughly complete all calibration and documentation associated with testing and repairs.
• Communicate timely updates to management, co-workers, and customers to ensure timely and successful completion of job responsibilities.
• Works closely with co-workers, management, and safety manager to ensure compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations.
