Job summary

CIRCOR International, Inc. is seeking an assembly and test technician to assemble and test a wide range of reducing and pressure control valves. You will follow IOM manuals, read interuption test instructions, and maintain safety practices during testing, working in a team to meet quality standards.

The role requires 2+ years in mechanical assembly and testing, proficiency with hand tools and reading drawings, and flexibility for overtime. Overtime is sometimes required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 2+ years of mechanical assembly experience.
• 2+ years of test experience.
• Able to interpret instructions and troubleshoot.
• Able to read drawings.
• Able to use hand tools and wrenches.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test a wide range of valves according to instructions.
• Mount or set up units or components to be tested per engineering specifications.
• Check test setup, piping and fixtures for leaks and pressure ratings; document test data.
• Make necessary adjustments to product during testing.
• Comply with established time standards and safety practices.
• Maintain work area, equipment, and supplies to ensure a safe, organized environment.
• Identify issues from the assembly line and determine solutions.
• Report to supervisor any issues they cannot handle.
