Job summary

CIRCOR International, Inc. is seeking an assembler to assemble and test a wide range of reducing and pressure control valves. You will follow manuals, perform readings and interruption tests, and apply safety practices during setup.

Check piping, leaks, and pressure ratings and document test data. Work in a team environment to meet quality standards and efficiency targets. Maintain the work area, tools, and supplies and make necessary adjustments to products during testing.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 2+ years of mechanical assembly experience.
• 2+ years of test experience.
• Ability to interpret instructions and troubleshoot.
• Ability to read drawings.
• Experience with hand tools and torque wrenches.
• EHS awareness and willingness to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test a wide range of valves according to instructions.
• Mount or set up units or components to be tested per engineering specifications.
• Check the test setup, piping and fixtures for leaks and pressure ratings and document test data.
• Make necessary adjustments to product during the testing.
• Comply with established time standards and safety practices.
• Maintain work area equipment and supplies to ensure a safe work environment.
• Figure out issues from the assembly line and find solutions.
• Report to the supervisor any issues that they cannot handle.
