Job summary

CPV Manufacturing in Kennett Square, PA is seeking a Valve Assembler to join our team. This role focuses on producing valves and components and contributes to quality products on the plant floor.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assemble valves and components per work orders, instructions, and drawings.
• Clean components and perform visual inspections for defects.
• Perform pressure tests on assembled valves to verify specifications.
• Maintain tools and equipment, and keep the work area safe and organized.
• Record data per ISO 9001 practices and assist with inventory as needed.

CPV Manufacturing, an industrial valve manufacturer located in Kennett Square, PA, is looking for a Valve Assembler to join our team. This position is focused on producing valves and valve components. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review the work order traveler, assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists to assemble valves and other components
• Clean valve and fitting assembly components following requirements that are called out
• Visually inspect components for defects prior to assembly
• Assemble product following engineering drawings, work instructions, and bill of materials
• Conduct pressure test on assembled valves to verify they meet requirements
• Record assembly and testing data using ISO 9001 documentation practices
• Maintain tools and equipment, including preventative maintenance
• Maintain safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
• Helps to maintain assembly area supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies and notifying supervisor when levels are low
• Work in the cleanroom when required, following all cleanroom procedures to assemble product in that environment
• Cross-train in other departments as needed
• Additional duties as assigned

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Work environment is on the plant floor
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Noise may be moderate to loud
• Must be able to wear proper PPE
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
