Job summary

CPV Manufacturing, a Kennett Square, PA valve producer, seeks a Valve Assembler to join our team. The role focuses on assembling valves and related components to meet precise specifications. Training is provided on our assembly lines and procedures.

You will read blueprints, perform preferred pressure tests, verify dimensions, and maintain a clean, safe work environment. Generous PTO, holidays, 401k match, and comprehensive benefits accompany a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• High School diploma; technical education a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints.
• Proficiency with mechanical tools and measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Assemble valves and components per work orders, instructions, drawings and BOMs.
• Conduct pressure tests on assemblies to verify requirements.
• Inspect components for defects before and after assembly.
• Maintain tools, equipment and clean work environment; participate in inventory control.
• Follow ISO 9001 documentation practices for data records.
• Marine to assist in cleanroom when required; cross-train as needed.

Salary Range: $20.00 To $24.00 Hourly

CPV Manufacturing, an industrial valve manufacturer located in Kennett Square, PA, is looking for a Valve Assembler to join our team. This position is focused on producing valves and valve components. At CPV, there is an opportunity for everyone to make a big impact on our success, and this position is critical in our operation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review the work order traveler, assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists to assemble valves and other components
• Clean valve and fitting assembly components following requirements that are called out
• Visually inspect components for defects prior to assembly
• Assemble product following engineering drawings, work instructions, and bill of materials
• Conduct pressure test on assembled valves to verify they meet requirements
• Record assembly and testing data using ISO 9001 documentation practices
• Maintain tools and equipment, including preventative maintenance
• Maintain safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
• Helps to maintain assembly area supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies and notifying supervisor when levels are low
• Work in the cleanroom when required, following all cleanroom procedures to assemble product in that environment
• Cross-train in other departments as needed
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Work environment is on the plant floor
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Noise may be moderate to loud
• Must be able to wear proper PPE
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
