Job summary

Ontic in Creedmoor, North Carolina, is seeking a Value Stream Quality Engineer to own quality across the full product value stream—from supplier to customer. You will use data and structured problem-solving to identify risks, drive improvements, and ensure procedures and requirements are met.

You will lead audits, risk assessments, and root-cause analyses while supporting cost-reduction initiatives through lean continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• :Experience supporting quality across products, manufacturing processes and/or supply chain activities.
• :Experience conducting product or process audits and working to established procedures and customer requirements.
• :Ability to lead risk assessments and support effective risk-management decisions.
• :Experience with root cause analysis and structured problem-solving.
• :Ability to develop, analyze and interpret quality metrics and trends using statistical analysis tools.
• :Experience supporting or leading continuous improvement activities.
• :Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

Your scope will extend across the value stream, including the supply base, manufacturing processes and customer requirements. You'll use data, quality tools and structured problem-solving to identify risk, understand performance and drive meaningful improvements.
