Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or production management, preferably in the electrical or related industry.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve goals and objectives.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Proficiency in project management, scheduling, and logistics planning.
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and best practices.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of supervisors and associates to ensure adherence to company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards
• Develop and implement strategies to reduce turnover and enhance supervisor skills through ongoing training and development programs
• Provide direction, coaching, and mentorship to team leaders and hourly production associates
• Develop and implement processes to optimize plant effectiveness and efficiency, including scheduling, logistics, and resource planning
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve company-established goals related to production activities
• Manage equipment needs, maintenance, and procurement in coordination with internal teams and suppliers
• Ensure compliance with project procedures, safety regulations, and quality requirements
• Identify and resolve complex issues to ensure all manufactured parts meet specifications and quality standards
• Create, review, and update project schedules and forecasts, communicating status updates and changes to the manufacturing team
• Stay informed about industry trends and business decisions to make informed recommendations
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma to optimize processes and reduce waste
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork across all levels of the organization
