Job summary

Carrier seeks a Value Stream Manager to own a complete value stream at a manufacturing facility, responsible for safety, quality, delivery and cost from raw materials to finished goods.

You will lead production supervisors and front-line teams, driving daily management and continuous improvement with Lean tools. You will partner with Materials, Quality and Engineering and oversee multi-shift operations to achieve SQDC targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years of manufacturing experience, including 3+ years directly leading production and front-line supervisory teams.

Responsibilities

• Owns end-to-end performance of the assigned value stream, delivering EH&S, quality, delivery, inventory, and cost targets.
• Leads, coaches, and develops production supervisors and front-line teams; manages and evolves the staffing and skills plan for the operation.
• Drives value stream mapping and Lean initiatives (standard work, SMED, pull systems, kaizen) to eliminate waste and improve flow.
• Owns daily management (tiered accountability meetings, SQDC boards) and rapid problem-solving on the floor.
• Partners with Materials, Quality and Engineering on production planning, line balancing and new product introduction.
• Manages productivity, OEE, labor efficiency and adherence-to-plan for the value stream.
• Leads root-cause problem-solving (8D) and drives sustainable corrective actions.
• Champions a culture of safety, engagement, and continuous improvement.
