Qualifications

  • 5 years’ experience in manufacturing and/or logistics supervisory role or 2 years’ experience in manufacturing and/or logistics management role.
  • 5 years’ experience in nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, food, or medical device manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Champions employee safety and product quality.
  • Coordinates all manufacturing and warehouse activities for their assigned Value Stream.
  • Supervises the manufacturing and warehouse personnel for their assigned Value Stream.
  • Oversees all employee training for their assigned Value Stream.
  • Evaluate and manage machine and personnel resources to ensure high productivity and minimal downtime.
  • Plan and coordinate daily manufacturing and warehouse activities, including receiving, picking, shipping, returns, cycle counts, and production adherence to plan.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer demands.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction and implement effective solutions.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other external partners to ensure smooth inbound and outbound logistics operations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in manufacturing and warehouse management.
  • Follow SOPs, GMP, GDP, and safety requirements.
  • Champion continuous improvement within their Value Stream.
  • Escalate issues to senior management and manage staff accountability.

This role will direct the work of both the manufacturing and warehouse teams to maintain a safe and efficient workflow.   • Responsible for managing staff accountability and performance and taking appropriate disciplinary action when necessary.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • 5 years’ experience in manufacturing and/or logistics supervisory role or 2 years’ experience in manufacturing and/or logistics management role.
  • 5 years’ experience in nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, food, or medical device manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, FIFO, FEFO, cycle count, and inventory control practices.
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and KPI Management.
Competencies
  • Expertise with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software like Sage and NetSuite.
  • Extensive knowledge in manufacturing concepts, processes, and procedures
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices within a manufacturing and warehouse environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
