Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in Production Planning and Manufacturing Operations to manage schedules, capacity, and throughput effectively.
• Experience in Operations Management to lead teams, manage performance metrics, and ensure safe, efficient daily operations.
• Knowledge of Supply Chain Management to coordinate materials, suppliers, and logistics in support of value stream objectives.
• Background in Manufacturing Engineering to support process design, optimization, and integration of new products or technologies.
• Proficiency with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and root-cause problem-solving methodologies.
• Strong analytical, data-driven decision-making, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work across cross-functional teams and at various organizational levels.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, business, or a related field; equivalent experience in a manufacturing or defense environment may be considered.
• Experience in defense, aerospace, or highly regulated industries is beneficial.

Role Description

The Value Stream Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Dallas, TX, responsible for leading the end-to-end performance of a designated product or process value stream. This role collaborates closely with operations, engineering, supply chain, and quality teams to optimize workflows, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The Value Stream Manager will analyze performance metrics, implement lean methodologies, and ensure that customer requirements and program milestones are consistently achieved. The position also involves mentoring team members, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration, and supporting strategic planning for future capacity and capability needs.
