Job summary

Raytheon Technologies in Andover, MA, is seeking a Value Stream Lead to manage the multi-cell, multi-shift operation within the HWIC Factory, driving safety, quality, schedule, and cost performance.

You will lead cross-functional teams, apply CORE and lean methods, and collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and finance to improve on-time delivery and reduce cycle time. A DoD Secret clearance is required, and the role is onsite with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

Raytheon has an opportunity to join the Hardware Integration Center (HWIC) Factory team. This position has overall leadership of the sub-assembly area, supporting high profile BMC4I program.

As the Value Stream Lead your responsibilities include full management accountability regarding the performance on all aspects of safety, quality, schedule, and cost performance for the multi-cell/multi-shift operation. The Value Stream Lead will be responsible for setting the standard and driving operational excellence throughout the organization with a focus on improving on-time delivery and reducing overall cycle time.

This position requires an independent, self-motivated leader, that can drive the organization to meet goals and objectives consistently.

Daily interaction with other cross‑business teams needed to maintain and meet organizational goals and objectives is required to be successful. These groups include technical support, manufacturing/design engineering, maintenance, production control and finance as well as multiple Integrated Product Teams. Achieving/exceeding safety, quality, delivery, cost goals and identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities using CORE and lean methodologies are critical performance criteria for this position.

Qualifications

You Must Have Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience. Experience in one or more of those areas: Engineering, Manufacturing, Production Control, Supply Chain, Operations, and/or Quality.

We Prefer
  • Strong management skills including the ability to make decisions with minimal supervision, goal setting, delegation, coaching, and motivating.
  • Manufacturing or industrial engineering and supervisory experience in the aerospace/defense industry.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
  • Solid interpersonal skills to manage tasks that bridge operations, production control, engineering, supply chain, and customer relations.
  • High computer literacy and with confidence and skill working with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and familiarity with Raytheon systems (PRISM, PDM, VBS).
  • Metrics-driven EVMS Certified.

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
