Raytheon on-site in Andover, MA seeks a Value Stream Lead for the Precision Metal Fabrication Factory (Hardware). You will oversee the high-volume value stream, driving safety, quality, schedule and cost performance across multi-cell/multi-shift operations.

The role requires a university degree with 8+ years in manufacturing or industrial engineering, or 5+ years with an advanced degree. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience with minimum 8 years, or an Advanced Degree with minimum 5 years experience.
• Experience in manufacturing and/or industrial engineering with supervisory experience in aerospace/defense.

Raytheon has an opportunity to join the Precision Metal Fabrication Factory (Hardware). This position has overall leadership of the High-Volume Value Stream, a fast paced, multi-shift, high volume environment that produces products using cutting edge technologies and automation. As the Value Stream Lead your responsibilities include full leadership and management accountability regarding the performance on all aspects of safety, quality, schedule, and cost performance for the multi-cell/multi-shift operation. The Value Stream Leader will be responsible for setting the standard and driving operational excellence throughout the organization. This position requires an independent, self-motivated leader, that can drive the organization to meet goals and objectives consistently.

This role requires daily interaction with cross-business teams to maintain and meet organizational goals and objectives. These groups include manufacturing/test/design engineering, maintenance, production control, finance and various program management offices. Achieving/exceeding safety, quality, delivery, cost goals and identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities using CORE, six sigma and lean methodologies are critical performance criteria for this position.

What You Will Do:

• Execute to deliver commitments.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
• Experience working in manufacturing and/or industrial engineering and supervisory in the aerospace/defense industry
• U.S. Citizen - the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Management skills including the ability to make decisions with minimal supervision, goal setting, delegation, coaching, and motivating.
• Communication skills (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
• Interpersonal skills to manage tasks that bridge operations, production control, engineering, supply chain, and customer relations.
• Computer literacy and with confidence and skill working with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and familiarity with Raytheon systems (PRISM, PDM, VBS)
• EVMS Certified.

The salary range for this role is 107, 500 USD - 204, 500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
