Job summary

Generac Power Systems is seeking a Value Stream Manager to lead the Trenton, SC value stream and drive continuous improvement across safety, quality, delivery, and cost. You will implement the Generac Manufacturing System (GMS), coach a qualified team, and manage daily to yearly performance expectations through PDCA and PDCA-style leadership.

You will also oversee NPI launches, establish standardized work, and foster a culture of problem solving to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 5 years progressive operations or lean management experience.
• 3 years demonstrated Lean implementation experience.
• Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP system.
• Demonstrated experience in flow principles, Kanban, and PFEP.
• Demonstrated leadership with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Value Stream in daily operations and continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure standardized work, countermeasures, and safety improvements.
• Fix problems to ensure quality right the first time.
• Develop and coach the team aligned with company strategy.
• Use PDCA with MDI to deliver metric results and continuous flow.
• Lead and coordinate New Product Introductions (NPI) within Operations.
• Promote information sharing and external benchmarking.
• Provide training and cross-training for continuity.
