Job summary

Bruker Eden Prairie, MN is seeking a Value Stream Lead for the Hysitron NanoIndentation product line. This hands‑on role coordinates assembly, testing, and workflow to meet production schedules and delivery commitments.

You will train and mentor team members, collaborate with Engineering on new product introductions, and monitor key metrics while driving continuous improvement in quality, safety, and efficiency.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment with precision assembly of electro‑mechanical devices is preferred
• Associate’s or B.S. degree in Electronics, Manufacturing Technology or equivalent program is required
• Moderate walking, standing, sitting; heavy lifting and exposure to machinery.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily activities to meet production orders, repairs, and delivery commitments.
• Assemble, test, and troubleshoot electro‑mechanical components and systems.
• Train and mentor staff on assembly, test, repair procedures, safety, and quality.
• Monitor material availability and manage work order flow and documentation.
• Support new product introductions and design/process changes with Engineering.
• Measure value stream metrics: throughput, yield, rework, cycle time.
• Develop standard work and test methods; contribute to fixture design and process improvement.
• Maintain knowledge of Hysitron products to support decisions.
• Collaborate with peers and management to resolve issues and keep operations smooth.
• Work independently with guidance, prioritizing tasks and addressing issues.
• Perform other operational duties to support team objectives.
