Job summary

Johnson & Johnson in Irvine, CA is seeking a Value Stream Analyst to support the EP value stream management. The role focuses on end-to-end supply chain strategy, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration across R&D, Quality, Finance, and Commercial teams.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Support development, refresh, and execution of Product Strategy Roadmaps (PSRs) for assigned products aligned with VSM standards.
  • Coordinate cross-functional inputs to support E2E product strategies and initiative prioritization.
  • Drive execution of value stream initiatives and track progress, risks and outcomes.
  • Support E2E performance management, dashboards, KPI reviews, and leadership presentations.
  • Identify risks and recommend actions to the Value Stream Director as needed.
  • Support NPI and lifecycle activities including launch readiness and transfer of ownership.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement across supply chain processes and operations.
  • Collect, consolidate, and analyze data to support strategic decisions and priorities.
  • Help mature the VSM capability with standard tools and governance.

Job Description The Value Stream Analyst supports strategic and operational activities across end-to-end (E2E) product and Therapeutics supply chain value stream.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development, refresh, and execution of Product Strategy Roadmaps (PSRs) for assigned products, in alignment with VSM standards and governance.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional inputs (Supply Chain, R&D, Commercial, Quality, Finance) to support E2E product strategies, initiative prioritization, and execution planning.
  • Drive execution of value stream initiatives and projects, tracking progress, risks, dependencies, and outcomes against defined objectives and success measures.
  • Support E2E performance management, including preparation of dashboards, KPI & CIP reviews, and presentations to track key performance indicators, project milestones, risks, and business outcomes.
  • Identify execution risks, constraints, and trade‑offs, and elevate insights and recommendations to the Value Stream Director as needed.
  • Support NPI and lifecycle activities, including launch readiness reviews, execution tracking, and transfer‑of‑ownership coordination.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts across supply chain processes, manufacturability, and operational performance.
  • Collect, consolidate, analyze, and communicate data to support strategic business decisions and value stream priorities.
  • Contribute to the development and maturation of the VSM capability, including use of standard tools, templates, governance forums, and ways of working.
Qualifications Required Minimum Education

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.

Required Years of Related Experience

1-3 years of professional experience in supply chain, operations, manufacturing, project management, engineering, analytics, or related fields. Internship, co‑op, or rotational program experience preferred. Exposure to healthcare, medical device, manufacturing, or regulated industries is preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret data and communicate insights effectively.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power Bi, QuickBase, and data visualization tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
  • Working knowledge of end‑to‑end supply chain processes, from demand planning through delivery Ability to create executive‑ready reports, dashboards, and presentations.
  • Interest in supply chain strategy, value stream management, product lifecycle management, and business operations.
  • Understanding of NPI processes and product lifecycle management preferred Ability to communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders and prepare materials for leadership reviews.
  • Detail‑oriented, structured, and comfortable operating within defined frameworks while exercising sound judgment.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is : $65,000.00 - $104,650.00

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long‑term incentive program.
