Job summary

DuPont is seeking a Director of Value Analysis & Engineering (VAE) to drive enterprise value through value engineering analytics and AI-enabled cost optimization. You will lead a high-impact team across operations, manufacturing technology, R&D and supply chain to identify, prioritize and implement cost, quality and performance improvements.

You will establish the VAE roadmap, govern portfolio performance, mentor the team, and influence senior leadership with clear recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer/Data Science, MBA or AI Business Masters.
• 15+ years of experience in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Computer Science related field.
• Proven experience with Advanced AI and analytics leadership across the enterprise.
• Experience sponsoring or deploying AI-enabled cost modeling and process optimization.
• Executive-level change leadership with ability to influence senior leaders.
• Strong P&L ownership mindset and financial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Value & Cost Reduction Leadership: lead enterprise value engineering strategy.
• Raw Material & Supplier Value Optimization: drive material cost reductions and should-cost modeling.
• Manufacturing Process Improvement: optimize yield, cycle time, waste, and energy efficiency.
• Change Leadership & Adoption: drive adoption across sites with risk mitigation.
• Team Leadership & Capability Building: mentor and develop VAE team and build AI literacy.
• Performance Tracking & Value Realization: establish KPIs and report progress to leadership.
