Job summary

Risant Health, a nonprofit affiliate of Kaiser Foundation Hospitals, is transforming healthcare by accelerating value-based care adoption across community health systems. The Program Manager, VBP Healthcare Operations leads planning, coordination, and delivery of Value-Based Products initiatives, translating product vision into executable project plans.

Up to 30% travel is required. The role ensures alignment across product teams and stakeholders, drives delivery to timelines and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
• Five years of experience in program or project management, preferably in healthcare, technology, or product delivery.
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex initiatives from planning through implementation.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: work with product, engineering, and implementation teams to align scope, timelines, deliverables.
• Stakeholder Engagement: manage relationships across senior leadership and external partners.
• Program and Project Management: lead complex programs with strong SDLC understanding.
• Risk and Change Management: identify risks, mitigate, and lead change including training.
• Process Adherence: follow governance frameworks and established processes.
• Reporting and Analytics: develop dashboards and performance metrics.
• Resource and Financial Management: manage resources, budgets, and allocations.

Responsibilities

• Program Planning & Execution: deconstruct a release into a work breakdown structure with sprints delivering product value.
• Product Team Partnership: ensure alignment between strategic goals and execution.
• Delivery Management: track delivery to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: build and maintain relationships with internal teams and external partners.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: surface risks and dependencies, report status with dashboards and exec updates.
• Resource & Performance Oversight: oversee task assignments and align resources with delivery needs.
• Process Adherence & SDLC Alignment: promote adherence to SDLC and governance, handoff to implementation.
• Risk & Change Management: identify risks and lead organizational change activities including training.
• Vendor & Partner Coordination: collaborate with third-party vendors and ensure performance SLAs.
