Job summary

ASAAR Medical is seeking an HCC Coder & Provider Engagement Specialist in Boca Raton, FL. This full-time role supports Primary Care Providers and Care Coordinators in MRA risk coding within a value-based care setting.

The position involves educating clinicians on coding guidelines, onboarding new providers, and conducting provider meetings to improve documentation and coding accuracy. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• HCC coding with 2 years of experience required.
• CRC or AAPC certification with 2 years of experience required.
• EMR systems experience of 2 years required.

Responsibilities

• Educate clinicians on coding guidelines and Medicare Risk Adjustment procedures.
• Onboard new providers and support within their first month.
• Review charts to identify missed chronic conditions and trends.
• Conduct 1:1 meetings with providers and practice managers.
• Audit provider documentation and coding for accuracy and risk adjustment.
• Collaborate with Learning and Development and data teams on improvements.
• Stay abreast of CMS updates.
