Job summary

CareAllies is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join our team and execute strategic priorities for Stars Part D and medication utilization. You will collaborate with clinical leaders and physician clients to improve quality, safety, and financial performance while supporting academic detailing and practice-level interventions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy required; PharmD strongly preferred.
• Licensed pharmacist in good standing in the state.
• 3+ years of professional experience in managed care and/or ambulatory care.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of CMS Medicare program and CMS quality improvement programs.

Responsibilities

• Support academic detailing activities and process interventions based on practice-level data, trends and opportunities.
• Educate provider groups and clinical staff to assist them in value-based care.
• Disseminate performance data focused on Stars Part D medication utilization to improve care.
• Participate in quality improvement programs and medication adherence initiatives.
• Attend and present at provider-facing meetings, with travel within a geographic area; meetings often in evenings.
• Collaborate with physician clients and CareAllies clinical programs on medication therapy problems.
• Complete comprehensive medication reviews and identify relevant therapy problems.
• Provide patient/caregiver counseling on therapy, safety, and effectiveness.
