Job summary

RiseMe is seeking a qualified RN to join the Value Analysis Team (VAT) to support trials, new products, and outcomes tracking. The role requires independent judgment, project management skills, and collaboration with executive leadership and clinical staff to improve patient and employee safety.

You will coordinate initiatives, monitor literature and data, and lead VAT meetings while ensuring cost-effective utilization of products and processes across hospital facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 3 years in a clinical healthcare setting required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse upon hire required or RN multi-state license upon hire required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates oversight and management of assigned VAT initiatives using System performance improvement methodology.
• Monitors and maintains records of VAT initiatives including product reviews, trials and evaluations.
• Acts as liaison between hospital/system administration, departments and clinical staff for cost-effective product utilization.
• Leads Value Analysis Monthly Team meetings and participates in VAT sub-groups.
• Oversees acquisition and implementation of approved products and communicates with involved departments.
• Reviews requested products using literature, federal databases, alerts and recalls.
• Leads system trials of new products and collects/analyzes data.
• Monitors patient outcomes for initiatives as needed.
• Interacts with department managers for data collection, analysis, implementation and follow-up.
• Maintains regular contact with clinical, administrative and support staff.
• Assists in managing substitutes for back-ordered items and product issues.
• Promotes cooperation and mentors others.

General Summary

Provides project support for Value Analysis Team (VAT) initiatives including trials, new products and outcomes tracking. Works independently and exercises independent judgment and discretion. Requires project management skills. Administers/coordinates programs, projects and/or processes as assigned, and may act as a liaison between executive leadership and Supply Chain Management project teams during report-outs. This position supports projects that improve the care and safety of patients and employees.

Essential Functions:

• Coordinates the oversight and management of assigned initiatives. Ensures that all project plans are developed and executed using methodology consistent with System performance improvement and Value Analysis methodology.
• Monitors and maintains records of VAT initiatives including all product reviews, trials and evaluations.
• Serves as a liaison and clinical resource between Hospital/System administration, departments and clinical staff to ensure cost effective utilization of products, services and processes including, but not limited to, surgical supplies, capital equipment, technology and process related activities.
• Leads Value Analysis Monthly Team meetings. Participates or leads sub-groups of the VATs.
• Oversees the acquisition and implementation of newly approved products to include communication to all involved departments and/or facilities
• Will complete review of requested products which will include review of literature, search of federal databases, and search for any alerts and recalls.
• Leads system trials of new products. . Collects and analyzes data from the trials.
• Monitors patient outcomes for different initiatives when indicated.
• Interacts with all appropriate system wide department managers to assist with data collection, analysis, implementation, monitoring and follow-up with assigned projects.
• Maintains regular contact with all staff levels: clinical, administrative, professional and support.
• Assists in managing substitutes for back ordered items, customer complaints or problems with products.
• Promotes cooperation and communication among all team members. Knowledgeable regarding conflict resolution and effective communication. Mentors others.
• Administers/coordinates programs, projects and/or processes within the Supply Chain as assigned.
