Job summary

BlueStar US is seeking a technician to assemble and disassemble computer hardware and perform repairs as needed. The role involves working with Windows, Android, and iOS systems, lifting up to 50 lbs, and maintaining a clean work area.

The position is hourly with a benefits package and a Monday–Friday 9am–6pm shift, with overtime possible. The ideal candidate has general computer hardware experience, can use hand tools, and is willing to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Familiar with using hand tools.
• Must be able to stand and walk the entire shift.
• Does repair and processes RMAs as assigned.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs.
• Keeps area clean.
• Limited travel.
• Overtime may be required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• General computer hardware experience.
• Technical certifications a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble computer hardware.
• Work with desktop and mobile operating systems (Windows, Android, iOS).
• Breakdown and rework hardware as part of repairs and RMAs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Support overtime as needed and adhere to shift hours (Mon–Fri 9am–6pm).

Job Description

As a technician, the position requires basic assembly and disassembly of computer hardware. Working knowledge of desktop computers and mobile operating systems (Windows, Android and IOS). Hardware configuration is a plus. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. This position is an hourly position with a complete benefits package. The shift operates Monday‑Friday from 9am-6pm with overtime.
