Job summary

Cherry Bekaert is seeking a Senior Manager, Valuation, to lead both strategic and traditional valuation engagements including pre-deal analyses and value opinions. You will manage client relationships, direct valuation modeling, and mentor junior professionals while contributing to business development and risk management.

You will collaborate with clients across industries, translating complex finance concepts into actionable insights, and travel as needed to support engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• CFA or ASA certification/params strongly preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive experience leading complex financial & valuation analyses and building financial models.
• Strong research and analytical capabilities for complex valuation issues.
• Exceptional client relationship, communication, technical writing, and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel as needed to support client/firm needs (≤20%).

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic and traditional valuation engagements, including pre-deal analyses and value opinions.
• Manage the full engagement lifecycle with clients and teams.
• Translate valuation analyses into clear, actionable insights for clients.
• Direct complex financial analyses, valuation models, and ad hoc modeling.
• Manage engagement and proposal risk per firm expectations.
• Support business development through client interactions and leadership.
