Job summary

Colliers in Atlanta seeks an experienced real estate valuation professional to originate new client relationships and lead cross- geographies to deliver exceptional client service. Responsibilities include allocating assignments, supervising trainees, and executing valuation work for various clients, including REITs and pension funds.

Proficiency in Argus and MS Excel, along with a strong MAI designation and 10+ years of experience, are required.

Qualifications

  • MAI designation is required.
  • At least 10 years of related work experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree and completion of advanced appraisal class curriculum preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Originate new client relationships and foster existing ones.
  • Manage team members across geographies to deliver client service and results.
  • Allocate appraisal assignments.
  • Supervise trainee appraisers.
  • Execute valuation and appraisal assignments for corporate clients, REITs, pension funds, funds, lenders, etc.
  • Apply expertise in discounted cash flow (Argus and MS Excel), Sales Comparison Approach, Cost Approach, and Highest & Best Use.
  • Review industry surveys, benchmarks, economic and demographic trends.
  • Assist with presenting the results of analyses clearly.

This position is a hybrid role based out of the local office.

In this role, you will…
  • Originate new client relationships and foster existing ones.
  • Manage team members across geographies to deliver exceptional client service and results.
  • Allocate appraisal assignments.
  • Supervise trainee appraisers.
  • Execute valuation and appraisal assignments (financial reporting, purchase accounting, Net Asset Value, periodic reporting, tax, lending, etc.) for corporate clients, REITs (publicly traded & non-traded), pension funds, open and closed-end funds, lenders, etc.
  • Apply expertise in discounted cash flow (Argus and MS Excel), Sales Comparison Approach, Cost Approach, and Highest & Best Use.
  • Review industry surveys, benchmarks, economic and demographic trends.
  • Assist with preparing and presenting the results of our analysis in a clear and concise manner.
What You’ll Bring

Annual salary range 100% commission-based compensation

Benefits

Employees (and their families) are provided options for employer subsidized medical benefits including RX, dental, vision as well as employer paid basic life/AD&D insurance and short-term / long-term disability. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan, which includes an employer match. Employees will also receive 10 days of sick leave, along with twelve weeks (for birth parents) and 4 weeks (for non-birth parents, including adoptive/foster parents) for paid parental leave which will be available for use after successful completion of 90 days of employment. Individuals may be eligible for different or additional benefits under applicable state law.

Bonus: This position is eligible for an annual bonus, based on company and individual performance.
