Job summary

KPMG is seeking an Intern to join our Economic and Valuation Services practice in Houston. You will assist with valuation analyses of real and personal property for financial reporting, tax, and regulatory needs, while collaborating with senior team members on diverse client deliverables.

The role offers exposure to real estate assets, market research, and technology-enabled valuation tools, including AI, Alteryx, and Power BI.

Qualifications

Pursuing Bachelors or Masters in Engineering, Real Estate, Accounting, Finance, Business or Economics.
Must have additional academic credits to complete degree/CPA eligibility after internship.
Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
Experience with real estate, machinery and equipment valuation is a plus.
Proficiency in Excel-based modeling and data visualization is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist with valuation analysis of real property and personal property for financial reporting, tax, regulatory or planning.
Collaborate with senior team on client deliverables across real estate asset classes.
Perform market research and property inspections as required.
