Job summary

Testing Site - JPMC is seeking a Valuation Controller to ensure the accuracy and consistency of fair value assessments across a broad set of financial instruments. You will work within the Valuation Control Group aligned with Credit Trading and Public Finance, focusing on pricing governance, model development, and independent price verification.

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree with finance and economics major preferred.
3+ years of related experience in fixed-income valuation.
Ability to understand complex products and analyze transaction and process flows.
Understanding of valuation concepts for financial products and derivatives; basic accounting.
Analytical and quantitative aptitude; CFA is a plus (preferred).

Responsibilities

Execute price verification and benchmark process for instruments including bonds, bank loans, private placements, and municipal bonds.
Assist with established practices and control initiatives, regulatory mandates, and reporting within VCG.
Collaborate with business units on valuation issues and implement measures to ensure fair value.
Enhance control framework by reviewing pricing processes and adopting new tools for efficiency.
Contribute to value‑added projects across Business, Risk, and Finance.
