Job summary

Qualifications

• Accounting, Economics or Finance degree preferred, but not required.
• CFA, CPA or work towards the designation preferred, but not required.
• 1-3 years experience in the financial markets and the investment management industry is preferred.
• Willingness to understand valuation methods for various securities.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Desktop Applications and AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Price verification of fixed income securities.
• Develop valuation and price verification framework for newly traded securities and funds; collaborate with IT, Operations, Legal, Compliance and portfolio teams.
• Interact with independent fund administrators to resolve daily valuation questions for securities held in mutual funds; make fair valuation recommendations.
• Prepare management reports and key valuation metrics for Business, Controllers Management and Fund Boards.
• Coordinate annual vendor due diligence with third party pricing vendors and brokers.
• Review and update the Valuation Policy at least annually.
