Job summary

KPMG LLP in the United States is seeking an Associate to join the Economic and Valuation Services practice. The role focuses on valuing complex financial instruments with advanced models and communicating results to stakeholders.

You will develop and document valuation models, stay updated on guidance for financial reporting, tax, and litigation, and contribute to team training and business initiatives. Travel and on-site work at client premises may be required.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing or recent graduate in Quantitative Finance, Financial Engineering, or related field.
  • Preferred GPA 3.0 or above.
  • Coursework in information systems or data analytics preferred.
  • Familiar with stochastic models and risk-neutral frameworks.
  • Experience with valuation software tools preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform valuations of complex financial instruments using advanced models.
  • Present and document valuations to managers, clients, auditors.
  • Develop and enhance valuation models.
  • Stay current with guidance for financial reporting and tax.
  • Contribute to training and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Build capabilities with AI, Alteryx, Power BI.
