Job summary

AQR Capital Management in Greenwich, CT seeks a professional to lead end-to-end valuation, governance and oversight for U.S. mutual funds, UCITS, private funds and separate accounts, ensuring timely, accurate valuations compliant with SEC Rule 2a-5 and UCITS.

You will collaborate with fund treasury, risk, compliance, operations, legal and third-party administrators, oversee pricing vendors, challenge pricing, and drive scalable valuation models across asset classes while maintaining robust

Qualifications

Deep technical expertise in valuation methodologies and model evaluation.
Ability to challenge inputs, assumptions, and pricing; including unobservable inputs.

Responsibilities

Execute valuation end-to-end with governance and fair value support.
Define and execute valuation strategy and operating model for multiple funds.
Oversee daily and periodic valuation activities, including complex and less liquid positions.
Evaluate valuation methodologies and inputs with independent technical judgment.
Ensure compliance with SEC Rule 2a-5 and UCITS valuation frameworks.
Oversee pricing vendors and third-party service providers, with due diligence and monitoring.
Identify valuation risks and implement enhancements to strengthen controls.
Work with auditors on valuation matters and support methodology reviews.
Design, review, and oversee complex valuation models aligned with industry practices.
