Job summary

Manulife John Hancock is seeking a Valuation/Performance Reporting professional to track metrics, develop valuation models, and prepare investor reporting packages. You will work with accounting and auditors to ensure accurate quarterly and year-end financial documents for the funds.

The role requires experience in valuation techniques, strong Excel modeling, and knowledge of GAAP/IFRS. Collaboration with senior management and ability to meet deadlines is essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) required.
  • Two+ years of experience in accounting or financial analysis.
  • Experience with valuation techniques for debt and equity securities.
  • Knowledge of private equity, private debt or fund management is a plus.
  • Up-to-date with US GAAP and IFRS standards.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze valuation metrics and benchmarks for investment models.
  • Develop valuation methodologies and data variables for reports.
  • Update measurement models for changing inputs.
  • Prepare documentation for valuations and management recommendations.
  • Produce periodic portfolio performance reports for senior management.
  • Collaborate with accounting and external auditors on financial documents.
  • Create investor reporting packages and valuation summaries.
