Job summary

Houlihan Lokey is seeking a Financial Analyst within its Portfolio Valuation practice. You will analyze and value complex securities, develop valuation models, and prepare client deliverables for engagement teams.

The role emphasizes quantitative analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and interaction with clients and senior management. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in finance and accounting, experience with valuation models in Python or VBA, and a proven ability to work in a

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Applied Economics.
Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline preferred.
Strong analytical abilities and communication skills.
Experience with valuation of financial instruments and complex securities is preferred.

Responsibilities

Analyze and value derivatives, structured products, loans, private equity, and illiquid securities.
Model valuation using discounted cash flows, binomial lattices, Monte Carlo simulations, or Black-Scholes extensions.
Prepare client deliverables and participate in due diligence and management reviews.
Assist with sales/marketing efforts and respond to auditor questions regarding valuation analyses.
