Epitec is seeking a Validation Test Technician for the 2nd shift in Kokomo, Indiana. This role will support product validation activities in a lab, executing tests per plans and specifications while ensuring proper setup, data collection, and reporting.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, process-driven, and able to work independently in a fast-paced technical environment, with strong communication and organizational skills. Background check and drug screen are required.

Responsibilities

• Execute validation testing according to test plans and OEM specs.
• Maintain ownership of assigned tests through the full lifecycle.
• Set up, operate, and monitor testing equipment and environments.
• Collect, document, and report test data accurately.
• Communicate results and issues to Validation and Test Engineering teams.
• Collaborate with product engineers to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Maintain communication with Validation Engineering regarding performance.
• Follow lab procedures and keep a clean, safe work environment.
• Demonstrate organizational skills and a process-oriented approach.
• Support customer requirements with flexible scheduling.

Job Type: W2 Contract

Expected Hours per Week: 40 hours per week

Schedule: 2nd Shift (Start Time: 4:00 PM - 4:30 PM)

Pay Range: $20.50-$21.50

Job Description:

Epitec is seeking a Validation Test Technician to support product validation activities within a laboratory environment. This role is responsible for executing product testing according to established test plans and OEM specifications while ensuring accurate test setup, data collection, and reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, process-driven, and able to work independently in a fast-paced technical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Execute validation testing according to test plans and specifications.
• Maintain ownership of assigned tests throughout the full product test lifecycle.
• Set up, operate, and monitor testing equipment and test environments.
• Collect, document, and report test data accurately and efficiently.
• Communicate test results, issues, and findings to Validation and Test Engineering teams.
• Work directly with product engineers to ensure compliance with requirements and specifications.
• Maintain ongoing communication with Validation Engineering regarding product performance.
• Follow laboratory procedures and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills and a process-oriented approach.
• Remain flexible with work schedules as needed to support customer requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing an Associate Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Electronics, Automotive Technology, Materials Science, Chemical Technology, or a related technical field.
• Familiarity with testing and laboratory equipment such as:
  • Digital Multimeters (DMM)
  • Oscilloscopes
  • Power Supplies
  • Arbitrary Waveform Generators (ARB)
  • Signal Generators
  • SEM and analytical testing equipment
• Experience working in a product testing or validation laboratory environment.
• Strong technical aptitude and professional maturity.
• Demonstrated leadership potential and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
