• Support and develop automation platforms (e.g., Jenkins) by creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting pipeline jobs, scripts, and plugins.

Independent Verification and Validation Software Analyst Work Location: Huntsville, AL - remote work is not authorized Schedule: Full Time IronMountain Solutions is searching for a Validation Software Analyst to support a customer located in Huntsville, AL. The candidate will execute the process of verifying system and software artifacts for compliance, with a focus on source code analysis, design specification, documentation review and testing. Candidates must exercise excellent communication skills, written and verbal, and keen attention to detail.

Education Requirement Bachelor’s of Science degree in computer science or related technical field. Experience Requirement: 3+ years of relevant professional experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and review plans and reports to ensure system and software operates and complies with requirements and/or design specifications.
• Review design, system and test documentation related to requirements and test output.
• Provide technical support in data analyzed through verification and validation process.
• Develop post-processing analysis tools and visualizations to evaluate system performance.
• Perform detailed performance analyses, produce actionable insights, and suggest architectural or algorithmic enhancements.
• Support and develop automation platforms (e.g., Jenkins) by creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting pipeline jobs, scripts, and plugins.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to perform evaluations of various software related products and cover assessments of software products through all phases of the development life cycle, including software specifications, design verification, coding, testing and results data validation.
• Strong programming skills in software languages: C, C++, Java, Python, Html, and MatLab
• Experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Waterfall and Agile methodologies, Validation and Verification testing and analysis
• Ability to configure necessary hardware and operating environments as needed to complete analysis
• Knowledge of military and software development industry standards, and software requirement
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Linux technologies
• Good organizational skills in keeping structural repositories (GIT, SharePoint)
• Experience with automated testing environment, frameworks, and programming languages
• MIL-STD- or other software standards
• Participate in customer meetings, reviews/walkthroughs
• Record and close defects found during Verifications & Validation activities (Requirements traceability, Static Analysis, Dynamic Analysis)
• Perform remediations of Verification & Validation Software Analyst results as required

Desired Qualifications

• Experience reviewing requirements, design, and CDRLs documents such as: Software Requirement Specification (SRS), and Software Design Description (SDD), etc.
• Experience with requirements and traceability analysis and management.

Required Travel: 10%

Clearance Requirements: The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance is required. Per federal requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this level of clearance.
