Towne Park LLC is hiring a Traffic Controller at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Resort in Nashville. The role directs vehicular traffic, issues valet tickets, and upholds parking policies with a focus on hospitality. Starting pay is $22 per hour, with health benefits for full and part-time staff, and eligibility for a 401k plan.

Shifts are diverse (4–8 hours) including weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Experience preferred; 18+ years old and capable of reading/writing English.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience if no HS Diploma or GED
• Knowledge of traffic and valet procedures.
• Skills: Read and write standard English.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group settings to guests, clients and employees.
• Mathematical ability to add/subtract numbers and handle money measurements.

Responsibilities

• Direct vehicular traffic while providing attentive, friendly service to all patients/guests.
• Assist guests with directions and inquiries; provide information about surrounding area and main attractions.
• Obtain information about daily events and rates; manage claim checks and guest folio archives.
• Park and retrieve vehicles promptly and safely; assist guests with luggage where applicable.
