Job summary

Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club Inc. in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a Valet Supervisor to lead the valet team and create a warm, professional first impression for Members and Guests.

You will greet guests, manage parking operations, train attendants and ensure safety and service standards are consistently met across the porte-cochere and shuttle service. This role requires a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greets and welcomes Members and Guests according to RPYCC standards.
• Opens car doors for drivers and passengers when staffing allows.
• Takes responsibility for cars left in the Club's possession; parks/retrieves safely.
• Greets Members by name whenever possible.
• Opens doors to the Country Club and Yacht Club; assists with packages if time allows.
• Knows activities at the Club to answer questions or direct Members and Guests.
• Ensures proper staffing levels at all times in accordance with anticipated business.
• Trains all Valet Attendants and ensures adherence to standards.
• Inspects parking areas and reports repairs or hazards.
• Documents accidents/incidents and reports to Clubhouse Manager.
• Maintains cleanliness at porte-cochere and surrounding areas.
• Assists with shuttle service when necessary.
• Relays compliments, complaints or suggestions to Clubhouse Manager.
• Maintains professional and courteous communication.
• Maintains professional appearance per RPYCC grooming standards.
• Adheres to Royal Palm's policies and procedures.
• Remains alert, courteous and helpful to Members and Guests at all times.
• Performs other related duties as requested by the Clubhouse Manager or General Manager.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Valet Supervisor is the first and last impression that Members and Guests have of the Club. It is imperative that he/she creates a warm, welcoming and professional image for all as they arrive at the Club. The Valet Supervisor ensures that the Valet staff initiates hospitality to all Members and Guests at all times as well as taking responsibility for all vehicles left in their care by performing the following duties:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greets and welcomes Members and Guests according to RPYCC standards.
• Opens car doors for all drivers. Opens car doors for passengers whenever staffing levels allow.
• Takes responsibility of all cars left in the Club's possession. Safely parks and retrieves cars according to RPYCC standards.
• Greets Members by name whenever possible.
• Opens doors to the Country Club and Yacht Club and assists with any packages if time allows.
• Knows the activities taking place at the Club in order to answer questions or to direct Members and Guests as they arrive.
• Ensures proper staffing levels at all times in accordance with anticipated business.
• Trains all Valet Attendants and ensures that they adhere to all RPYCC standards. Reports any concerns to the Clubhouse Manager as they arise.
• Inspects parking areas and reports any needed repairs or potential hazards.
• Documents any accidents or incidents and reports them to the Clubhouse Manager immediately.
• Maintain cleanliness at the porte-cochere and surrounding areas.
• Assists with the shuttle service to transport Members and Guests when necessary.
• Relays any compliments, complaints or suggestions to the Clubhouse Manager.
• Conducts all communication in professional and courteous manner.
• Maintains a professional appearance in accordance to the RPYCC grooming standards.
• Adheres to Royal Palm's policies and procedures.
• Remains alert, courteous and helpful to Members and Guests at all times.
• Performs any other related duties as requested by the Clubhouse Manager or General Manager.

Education / Experience

• High School Degree or G.E.D.
• Ability to communicate effectively
