Job summary

Spanish Peaks Mountain Club in Big Sky, MT seeks a friendly Valet and Shuttle Driver to deliver exceptional service to members and guests. You will drive club vehicles, assist with arrivals, store luggage, and provide safe, punctual shuttle transportation throughout the resort.

The role requires a clean driving record, 21+ age, ability to operate various vehicles, and willingness to work days, nights, holidays and weekends in outdoor conditions.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate all types of passenger vehicles (standard and automatic).
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with good/clean record required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age to operate company vehicle.
• Good knowledge of driver safety practices and traffic laws.
• Prior experience driving passengers preferred.
• Capable of working a flexible schedule including days, nights, holidays, weekends.

Responsibilities

• Drive member and guest vehicles between designated areas and return for pickup.
• Assist with signature arrivals for members and guests.
• Store luggage as needed.
• Escort members and guests to Member Services or Dining Check In.
• Provide shuttle transportation in club vehicles around Big Sky.
• Read and understand trip manifests.
• Document trips and submit daily trip sheet.
• Notify managers of any incidents for safety and record-keeping.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and calmness during busy times.
• Keep club vehicles clean interior and exterior.
• Provide friendly, attentive service to make guests feel welcome.
• Other duties as assigned.

Valet and Shuttle DriverSUMMARY:

Excellent Service is at the heart of what we do here at Spanish Peaks Mountain Club. Our team knows our associates are our best asset, and we treat our associates as we do our members: with kindness, humility, and respect. SpanishPeaks is a private community situated on 3,500 acres nestled at 7,700 feet in stunning Big Sky, Montana. We are about 50 miles away from Bozeman, Belgrade, and West Yellowstone, MT.

The Valet and Shuttle Driver is responsible for providing a consistent, high-level of friendliness and efficiency for all members, guests, and visitors. This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by getting to know members and their families, while striving for the highest of standards to provide members and guests with a memorable experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Drive member and guest vehicles from upper Clubhouse circle to designated parking area for valet parking and return member and guest vehicle to upper Clubhouse circle for pick-up when needed.

• Assisting with the signature arrivals for our members and guests.

• Storing luggage, as needed.

• Escorting members and guests to Member Services or Dining Check In.

• Provide shuttle transportation in company club vehicles, throughout Spanish Peaks Mountain Club area and the general area of Big Sky.

• Read and understand your trip manifests.

• Document all trips and turn in daily trip sheet at the end of each shift.

• Immediately notify managers and safety department of any vehicular incidents (damage, accidents, guest incidents).

• Present a professional demeanor at all times, staying calm and collected when busy.

• Maintaining the cleanliness of the company club vehicles (interior, windshield, etc.).

• Provide friendly and attentive service to our members and guests, making them feel welcome, important, and relaxed.

• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to operate all types of passenger vehicles (standard and automatic).

• Valid U.S. driver’s license with good/clean record required.

• Due to insurance carrier requirements, must be at least 21 years of age to operate company vehicle

• Good knowledge of driver safety practices and traffic laws and regulations.

• Comfortable driving on snowy mountain roads.

• Prior experience driving passengers, preferred.

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, holidays, weekends.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Most work tasks are performed outdoors.

• The worker is driving and getting in and out of vehicles most of the day.

• Must be able to stand or drive and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours in length.

• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. on a regular basis.

• May be required to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs. occasionally.

• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning and luggage handling tasks.

• Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, and hearing ability and visual acuity.
