Job summary

Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races in West Virginia seeks team members for live horse racing events. You will assist trainers by saddling horses, maintain jockeys' gear, and provide attentive customer service in a fast-paced betting environment.

Candidates must have a high school diploma, WV Racing Commission license, and strong English communication. You should be able to work Wed-Sat evenings and maintain a professional appearance in a dynamic entertainment destination.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be licensed by West Virginia Racing Commission.
• Knowledge of WVRC Rules of Racing.
• Read, write legibly, understand and speak English.
• Excellent customer service/communication skills.
• Professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy.
• Able to respond to visual and oral cues.
• Able to work at a fast pace in crowded/noisy environments.
• Physically mobile with ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ideally experience saddling Thoroughbred racehorses.
