Omni William Penn Hotel in downtown Pittsburgh is seeking a valet attendant to drive and park guest vehicles while greeting guests with warmth and ensuring a smooth arrival and departure experience.

You will maintain vehicle inventory, assist with luggage, and uphold a neat, professional appearance in a fast-paced hotel setting. This on-site role requires reliability, safety, and outstanding guest service.

Qualifications

• Background check of driving record will be completed.

Responsible for driving, parking, and retrieving guest vehicles to ensure a smooth and welcoming experiences up on their arrival and departure. The valet parking attendant returns vehicles from the parking lot promptly and safely and provides excellent customer service to each guest.

Essential Functions:

• This person is responsible for parking and retrieving guest / patron vehicles promptly safely and courteously.
• Conducts key and vehicle inventory.
• Completes all necessary parking garage forms and claim tickets.
• Assists with guest luggage and provides direction and information to guests and patrons. Conducts cleaning of front drive area
• Requires standing, walking, and lifting up to 70 pounds continually throughout shift.
• Must have excellent guest service and communication skills and valet driver experience preferred.
• Must have a valid drivers license and background check of driving record will be completed.
• Must be able to operate and drive safely automatic and manual automobiles.
• Must be flexible with schedule and able to work am, pm and overnight shifts
• Responsible for a clean and "smart" appearance of uniforms.
• Knowledgeable about all hotel amenities.
• To be conversant with all hotel promotional programs (guest related).

Tools and Equipment:

• Computer and printer, typewriter, telephone, pen/pencil, photo-copying machine, facsimile machine

Working Environment:

• Interior and exterior of hotel with exposure to weather conditions.
• Must undergo a DMV Check and a Drug Test.
• Must have a valid PA drivers license
