SP+ in Glendale, a Metropolis company, is hiring a valet attendant to manage daily location operations, greet guests, and ensure timely service while safely parking and retrieving vehicles.

You will train staff, schedule shifts, and uphold SOPs, with a focus on safety, customer service, and flexible adaptation to busy days. This role offers tips on top of hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; or combination of education and experience.
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to drive a vehicle with a manual transmission may be required.
• Oral communication: speaks clearly; listens and asks for clarification.
• Written communication: reads and writes clearly.
• Customer service: maintains a positive attitude and responds professionally.
• Adaptability to changes in the work environment.
• Judgment: exercises sound and accurate judgment.
• Physical demands: able to sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds; vision requirements.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests courteously.
• Ensure customers receive timely service.
• Assist customers in and out of their vehicle.
• Drive, park, and retrieve customer vehicles safely.
• Assist with hiring, training, and coaching a valet team.
• Create staffing schedules based on anticipated daily vehicle volume.
• Maintain compliance with SOPs and ensure safety and security of vehicles/keys.
• Prepare daily paperwork per audit standards.
• Keep drive lanes and crosswalks clean of debris and spills.
• Develop and implement a staging plan to maximize parking capacity.
• Substitute for other positions as needed.
• Perform other duties as required.
