Job summary

Selig Parking seeks enthusiastic Valet/Guest Service Associates for the Candler Hotel in Atlanta to deliver aggressive hospitality. You will greet guests, park and retrieve vehicles, and open doors with a friendly, professional demeanor.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of customer service, strong communication skills, and enjoy outdoor work. Flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings, is required; prior valet or hospitality experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Excellent communication, guest service, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle stressful situations with poise.
• Ability to stand for long periods and run short distances.
• Lift/push/pull up to 20 pounds, carry up to 10 pounds.
• Friendly, energetic, and well-groomed appearance.
• Prior valet or hospitality experience preferred.
• Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and greet guests within 30 seconds and provide professional, fast, fun and friendly service
• Park and retrieves vehicles
• Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, hotel staff and co-workers
• Practice AAA Basics
• Immediately secure all keys
• Willing to adhere to all AAA Parking uniform and appearance standards
• Ensure all guest's valet experience are memorable and unique
• Run fast to retrieve cars
• Drive slow when presenting cars
• Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions and frequently exposed to car exhaust fumes
