Job summary

Seventh Dimension LLC is seeking a Valet Attendant to support the VA Medical Center in St. Louis, MO. The role involves greeting patients, assisting with vehicles and wheelchairs, and maintaining safe valet operations on-site.

Required are a Missouri driver’s license with two years of driving experience, U.S. citizenship, fluency in English, and the ability to pass drug screening and a background check. High school diploma or higher is expected.

• Pass 5-panel drug testing clearance.
• Pass a criminal background check.
• Clean DMV driving history.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist Veteran patients who request help exiting or entering their vehicle.
• If requested on arrival, retrieve VA provided wheelchairs or remove wheelchairs and assist into the wheelchair.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of valet staging and parking areas.
• Park or retrieve VA patient vehicles within ten minutes of arrival or request for retrieval.
• Ensure only Veteran patients, or STL VAMC-defined exceptions, park in designated valet areas.
• Provide self-parking directions to visitors, employees, and vendors.
• Monitor/report suspicious people, incidents, or hazards in the valet areas to the Valet Manager and VA Police as appropriate.
• Safely parking and retrieving valet parking eligible vehicles.
• Provide instructions to valet-parked vehicle drivers on how to check and claim their valet-parked vehicles.

Valet Attendant Location: The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center - St. Louis, MO Job Type: Full-Time/ Part-Time Travel: None Summary: Valet Attendants work directly with VA patients and visitors by providing services to valet park vehicles and provide assistance in/pot of vehicles. Valet Attendants will provide safe, high quality, VIP customer service to every customer to fulfill overall valet parking customer satisfaction for VAMC as needed. **Current driving record is required** Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• * Greet and assist Veteran patients who request help in exiting or entering their vehicle.
• If requested on arrival, either retrieve VA provided wheelchairs or remove VA patient's wheelchair from VA patient's vehicle and assist VA patient into the wheelchair.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of valet staging and parking areas.
• Park or retrieve VA patient vehicles respectively within ten (10) minutes of arrival or request for retrieval.
• Ensure only Veteran patients, or the STL VAMC defined exceptions, park in designated valet parking areas.
• Provide self-parking directions to visitors, employees, and vendors.
• Monitor / report suspicious people, incidents, and / or hazardous situations in the valet staging / parking areas to the on-duty Valet Manager and VA Police as appropriate.
• Safely parking and retrieving valet parking eligible vehicles
• For valet-parked vehicles:
• Providing instructions to valet-parked vehicle drivers on how to check and claim their valet-parked vehicles. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, skills, and abilities): * High School diploma or higher
• Valid U.S. driver's license (from the State of Missouri) with a minimum of two years driving experience.
