Job summary

LAZ Parking is seeking a Valet Attendant for multiple locations in the Washington, DC area. You are the first and last friendly face guests see, providing a warm welcome and professional service while guiding vehicle flow.

Greet guests, assist with luggage, handle doors, issue tickets, and park/retrieve cars quickly and safely. A valid driver license and customer-service mindset are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Drive stick/manual transmission required (location-dependent).
• Valid driver license for 2+ years required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong customer service experience.
• Parking or hospitality experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Direct traffic to keep car flow clean and organized with a smile.
• Welcome guests on arrival and departure.
• Greet customers by name and address their needs.
• Open and close doors for every customer.
• Assist guests with luggage from vehicle and to vehicle as necessary.
• Turn off each car and remove keys.
• Provide each customer with a valet ticket and retrieval process.
• Park and retrieve cars carefully, efficiently, and timely.
• Provide a self-reliant attitude and work with or without supervision.
• Promote excellent customer relations and LAZ Parking pride.

Valet Attendant

Location: Multiple Locations

Pay Rate: $14-18.00/HR + hourly rate plus CASH TIPS (depending on location)

Shift: FT/PT Open Flexible

Requirements: Valid DL required for ALL driving positions

The Spirit of the Position:

A LAZ Valet Attendant plays a significant role in the success of the company. They are the first person our clients and customers see upon arrival, and the last person our clients & customers see when they depart. A warm welcome, smiling face, and professional demeanor are of the utmost importance.

What Will I Do?

• Help direct traffic to keep the flow of cars clean and organized, all with a smile on your face!
• Welcome guests upon arrival and departure.
• Greet all customers by name, take care of their needs, and develop a rapport with each person driving up to your stand.
• Open and close doors for every customer upon arrival and departure.
• Assist guests with luggage from vehicle and to vehicle as necessary.
• Turn off each car and remove keys.
• Provide each customer with a valet ticket and provide retrieval process.
• Park and retrieve cars like a champ. This means carefully, efficiently, and in a timely manner.
• Provide a self-reliant attitude when needed. Must be able to work with or without supervision.
• Promote awesome customer relations. Smile, go above and beyond, make them love LAZ Parking the moment they meet you.

Requirements:

• Must be 18+ years old

Physical Demands:

• Willingness to work in the elements -- heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
• Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
