Job summary

InterPark LLC in Philadelphia is seeking a hiker/parking attendant to park customer vehicles entering the facility and retrieve them on exit.

Responsibilities include maneuvering cars in underground and surface areas, ensuring safety, and delivering strong customer service while following security procedures. The role may involve cashier tasks or light maintenance based on location and shift needs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Math skills sufficient to calculate time and money.
• Must understand verbal instructions and act accordingly in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Park vehicles in confined underground facilities, surface lots, and up/down steep ramps.
• Return to work stations quickly to maintain optimal customer flow.
• Handle each vehicle with care and follow all safety precautions.
• Remain vigilant for unusual or potentially threatening activity and inform management.
• Monitor work area and property for safety and security.
• Report accidents, hazards or maintenance needs to a manager immediately.
• Recognize dangerous situations and respond safely and effectively.
• Participate in all safety and security trainings within the market.
• Provide outstanding customer service by addressing needs, questions, or complaints promptly.
• May assist customers in and out of vehicles and perform cashier or light maintenance duties as needed.
• Depending on location, may operate a man lift.
