Job summary

StepStone Hospitality seeks a Hotel Associate (Valet Attendant/Bell Person) to warmly assist guests, escort them to rooms, and handle luggage with care. You will inspect rooms, explain in-room features, and provide information on services and attractions throughout shifts.

Responsibilities also include delivering messages, transporting guests by van, maintaining van cleanliness, and accurately reporting trip details to front desk. A professional demeanor is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to communicate with guests and vendors.
• Ability to accurately report information.
• Ability to scrupulously follow all StepStone and hotel policies and procedures.
• Attend required meetings.

Responsibilities

• Escort incoming guests to rooms.
• Assist guests with luggage.
• Inspect guest room to ensure it is in order and supplies are adequate.
• Explain features of room such as operation of radio, television, in-room movie system.
• Offer information on hotel services, points of interest, and attractions.
• Deliver messages and run errands.
• Transport guests in hotel van within property requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness of van interior and exterior.
• Maintain mileage records daily.
• Report all trips to front desk, including length of drive and time spent.
• Keep record of calls for service.
• Deliver packages, suitcases, and trunks.
• Set up sample rooms.
• Respond to and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions courteously and promptly.
